A New Year’s Letter from Dan Bonner, President of Baart Industrial Group

As 2023 comes to an end, I want to take a moment to reflect on the amazing year that Baart Industrial Group had. We achieved many of our goals, expanded our product lines, and delivered quality and innovation to our customers. Here are some of the highlights of our year:

• We launched Turner protected by Lubrilife bearings, which are designed to provide optimal lubrication and performance for various applications. Lubrilife bearings are available in both food grade and standard options, and they are backed by our engineering expertise and support.
• We introduced our VMRV series Vortex gearboxes, which are high-efficiency, low-noise, and compact speed reducers that can handle heavy-duty operations. Our Vortex gearboxes have been well-received by our customers and have boosted our sales and reputation.
• We added Jaw couplings to our BlackStar power transmission line, which offer a versatile and cost-effective solution for connecting shafts. Our Jaw couplings are easy to install, maintain, and replace, and they can accommodate misalignment and shock loads.

Of course, we also faced some challenges along the way. One of the biggest ones was the shortage of inventory that affected many of our competitors. We had to work hard to keep our stock levels up and ensure that we could meet the demand of our customers. We are grateful for the loyalty and trust that our customers have shown us, and we are committed to providing them with the best service and solutions possible.

Looking ahead to 2024, we have some exciting plans and projects in the works. Here are some of the things that you can expect from us:

• We are launching a new coupling in the BlackStar line, called the Solarflex coupling. This is a flexible and durable coupling that can handle high torque and speed, as well as vibration and shock. The Solarflex coupling will be available in the second quarter of 2024, so stay tuned for more details.
• We are expanding our capabilities to offer subassemblies for our customers. This means that we can provide them with a complete package of components that are ready to install, saving them time and money. We have already partnered with many customers to offer this service, and we are looking forward to working with more in the future.
